Contractor Prequalification Workshop

The City of Fort Worth is hosting quarterly workshops to help construction companies and contractors learn how to become prequalified to perform several major work categories for projects in Fort Worth.

Workshops will be available both online and in-person at Fort Worth City Hall.

Background

The City currently maintains three prequalification contracting lists for Fort Worth’s horizontal public works projects that cover:

  • All water and sewer work – Maintained by the Water Department
  • Concrete and asphalt paving – Maintained by the Transportation & Public Works (TPW) Department
  • Pedestrian and roadway lighting – Maintained by the Transportation & Public Works (TPW) Department
  • Bridge work – Coming soon!

To be eligible to work on projects in these categories, the prime contractor or a subcontractor must be prequalified with the City.
