Rendering of Heritage Park

The City of Fort Worth, in partnership with Downtown Fort Worth, Inc. is hosting a public meeting of the Heritage and Paddock Parks Project.  The project includes capital improvements to both the parks and streetscape of Weatherford and Belknap Streets around the historic Tarrant County Courthouse.

The public meeting will cover the plans detailing the design and construction of park amenities, including, but not limited to, the restoration of Heritage Park Plaza, the addition of new pathways and a canopy walk structure that navigates the bluff to the Trinity River and improvements made to Paddock Park.

The Public Meeting will also cover the streetscape improvements which include curb extensions for safer crossings at Belknap and Weatherford, new sidewalks, new traffic signals, lighting and landscaping to enhance access to the parks.
