Fun facts

Bonnie Brae Park is part of a larger parcel that also contains the former Bonnie Brae Elementary School (now known as the Riverside Applied Learning Center). The park was created in 1957, the same year that the school opened. This park is another example of the postwar effort to locate parks adjacent to schools.
