With a concerning uptick in cases tied to the Delta variant in recent weeks, it is important to note that access to COVID-19 testing remains widely available.

COVID-19 testing is easily found at many pharmacies, hospitals, doctor’s offices and private contractor sites; these locations may require health insurance or a cash payment.

In addition to these commercial resources, the City of Fort Worth will assist any resident with access to testing. Most COVID-19 tests are available at no cost, and testing options are with or without insurance. Anyone needing assistance accessing a free COVID-19 test can contact the COVID-19 hotline by email or call 817-392-8478.

View a full list of available testing locations on the Texas Department of Emergency Management’s webpage. Click on your location on the map to see nearby options.

Testing options and resources have increased dramatically since early 2020. Demand for COVID-19 testing also declined in early 2021, as COVID-19 cases dropped and vaccines became widely available.

Protect yourself and your family by supporting vaccinations in all individuals 12 and older. Find an appointment.
