Cromwell Marine Creek Road Widening

Cromwell Marine Creek Road will be widened to a four-lane divided road. 

The project scope includes:

• Right-of-way acquisition
• Drainage improvements
• Pedestrian lanes
• Street lights
• New bridge over Marine Creek
• Modifications to the Marine Creek Pkwy. roundabout in coordination with the Texas Department of Transportation. 
• Signalized intersections at Bob Hanger/Huffines Boulevard, Bowman Roberts Road, and Crystal Lake Drive

This project is in Council Districts 2 and 7.

July 2024 Project Update

• Demolition and reconstruction of the southbound lanes of Crystal Lake Drive at the intersection with Cromwell Marine Creek Road will begin on July 22nd.
• Major work will be completed before 1st day of school on August 12.
• Anticipated construction completion of southbound lanes of Crystal Lake Drive on August 30, weather permitting.
• Sundt Construction will avoid construction activities during drop-off/pick-up that impede on the traffic flow at Parkview Elementary School.
• Sundt Construction has coordinated this activity with Eagle Mountain—Saginaw ISD.
