East Northside Drive Bridge Replacement

This project involves the full replacement of the bridge at East Northside Drive over Samuels Avenue, between Northpark Drive & Cold Springs Road.

New sidewalks will be installed along both sides of the bridge.

This project is in Council District 9 and borders Council District 2.

May 2024 Project Status

• A community meeting was held to share project details including the detour signage. Westbound lane is closed.
• Construction began in March and is expected to complete by January 2025.
• Demolition of the half section (west bound) of the bridge structure is starting.
