Northwest Streets Project

The Transportation and Public Works Department will be using PayGo funding for street improvements in north Fort Worth.

The project involves heavy maintenance of asphalt resurfacing using in-place asphalt recycling. Only damaged curb and gutter, driveways, and non-compliant curb ramps will be replaced.

Streets that will be rehabilitated include:

•  Deen Road  (NE 28th Street to E Long Ave) and

• Clinton Avenue  (NW 20th Street to NW 23rd Street)

This project is located in Council District 2.

August 2025 Project Status

• Clinton Avenue is currently under construction. Crews have not yet started construction on Deen Road yet.
• Repairs of damaged concrete curb and gutter, valley gutters, and ADA ramps are completed on Clinton Avenue.
• Asphalt work is scheduled to begin on Clinton Ave in early September
