Fort Worth Animal Care & Control is working to keep pets healthier and help prevent overpopulation. The Chip & Snip Community Pet Clinic is a mobile trailer that brings FREE spay and neuter surgeries, microchipping, and vaccinations into Fort Worth neighborhoods.

What are the Benefits of Chip & Snip

  • Helps prevent unwanted litters and pet overpopulation
  • Helps prevent serious health issues like cancers and infections, while also reducing unwanted behaviors such as roaming and aggression.
  • Makes it easier for families to comply with the City’s spay-and-neuter law
  • Helps quickly reunite lost pets (microchips)

Interested in getting involved?


FWACC is looking for DVMs to donate just one Saturday a year.
Volunteering involves:
  • Performing spay/neuter surgeries
  • Microchipping
  • Administering vaccines
*All equipment, meds, & staffing support provided by Fort Worth Animal Care & Control.
