Fort Worth Animal Care & Control is proud to announce the launch of its first-ever “Chip Spot” at Winslow’s Cafe, a new community resource designed to help quickly reunite lost pets with their families.
If you come across a lost dog or cat, instead of driving to a veterinary clinic or animal shelter, you can now visit Winslow’s Cafe, where the staff have been equipped with a microchip scanner to help in identifying and reuniting pets with their owners.
The process is simple:
Operation Kindness generously donated the microchip reader for this initiative, helping make this pilot location possible.
FWACC is excited to partner with Winslow’s Cafe to offer this convenient service to the public. It’s one more way we’re working to keep pets safe and reduce the number of animals entering shelters unnecessarily.
If you’re a business owner, or know someone who would like to participate in becoming a Chip Spot, please reach out to our Communications Coordinator at 817-392-8914.
Residents are encouraged to share this information and help raise awareness about this valuable resource available in our community.
Thank you, Fort Worth, for supporting pet reunification efforts.
