The City’s two PetSmart Adoption Centers logged an impressive 2,898 adoptions for calendar year 2023 (30% of all FWACC adoptions).
This outstanding accomplishment earned them the prestigious Gold Medal status with PetSmart Charities. Gold Medal status is the highest achievement possible.
“We’re thrilled to share that because you’ve completed more than 1,500 adoptions in PetSmart stores, you have achieved the Gold Medal status for the Adoption Partner program,” the organization wrote in its award recognition letter. “We hope you will take this opportunity to celebrate your success in our common mission of saving lives through connecting pets with people who love them.”
