Newsracks

  • The locations listed on the Permit Locations document are for the core area of downtown(PDF, 316KB).(PDF, 316KB) Other locations located within the overall downtown area, as denoted on the map below, are within the required permit area and should be noted and mapped by the applicant to be included with the application.
  • The number of corners that are allowed newsracks has lessened considerably and the most that can be at any allowed corner is four, with some allowing only two or three. Currently, most locations in the core downtown area have 10-12 newsracks, which is no longer allowed. Prior to sending payment, please ensure the requested numbers of locations have been confirmed. Your current location is not guaranteed.
