Beginning July 1, 2026, all mobile food vendors must be licensed with the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) to operate.
If you operate your business in Fort Worth, you will need to obtain a permit with the Texas Department of State Health Services — not with the City of Fort Worth.
The DSHS application is available through Online Licensing Services.
