Library simplifies curbside pickup procedure

The Fort Worth Public Library is streamlining the curbside pickup process to make it easier and more convenient to check out materials. The changes take effect on Tuesday, March 30, when all Library locations reopen for limited walk-in service.

The biggest change is that patrons no longer need to schedule a pickup time once their items are ready.

To use the curbside service:

  • Place items on hold through http://fwmlc.polarislibrary.com/polaris/ or by phone at 817-392-READ (7323).
  • Wait for an email or phone notification that your items are ready.
  • Drive to the Library location where you reserved your items and look for the curbside pickup signs. Text “HERE” to the number on the sign to alert staff that you are there.
  • Library staff will deliver the reserved items to your car.
