LinkedIn Learning features more than 16,000 online courses in three categories: Business, Creative and Technology – a literal “something for everyone” buffet of professional development and personal growth.

Now all it takes is a Fort Worth Public Library card to access the entire collection of LinkedIn Learning courses at no charge. Normally, after a one-month free trial, LinkedIn Learning costs $29.99 per month under the monthly plan, or $19.99 per month with the annual plan ($240 a year total) for individual access.

The tool could prove especially worthwhile to small business owners, whose budgets might not include funding to provide continuing training to employees. Fort Worth business owners and operators of nonprofit organizations based in the city may obtain up to five Business Library Cards, which provide free access to library resources including LinkedIn Learning.

The online courses can help sharpen relevant job skills, from training in the recent software to how to maximize collaborative environments. Available training can boost skills to prepare for better jobs as well as start side businesses. After using the platform, which tracks the time and courses completed, LinkedIn Learning will begin suggesting courses tailored to a particular user.

But LinkedIn Learning is also suited for lifelong learners who want to explore a new hobby or personal skill, from learning to play a musical instrument to employing relaxation techniques.
