Amplify 817

Amplify 817 is a commercial-free online music streaming site exclusively featuring Fort Worth-based musicians. We pay musicians an up-front licensing fee unlike other streaming services that may offer pennies a month based on streams.

This program is made possible thanks to support and funding from the Fort Worth Public Library Foundation. Twice a year, the Library has an open round to accept new artists. A community-based group of curators active in the music and arts scene select 10-12 artists each round.

As an active member of the Fort Worth music scene, Amplify 817 supports artists with sponsored concerts, showcases, YouTube shows and much more. We proudly collaborate with Hear Fort Worth and appreciate their continued support.

Third Thursday Jazz

Third Thursday Jazz is a proud legacy at the Fort Worth Public Library. Running June through October, monthly concerts are hosted with free admission at the Central Library or local outdoor venues. These concerts bring in an average of 400 guests each month to listen to and appreciate jazz. The Library's music librarian curates a dynamic range of jazz groups celebrating this proud Fort Worth tradition. We appreciate the decades of support funding from the Fort Worth Public Library Foundation to keep this program thriving.
