Who We Are
The City of Fort Worth’s Community Action Partners (CAP) program serves as the Community Action Agency for Tarrant County and provides comprehensive services to economically disadvantaged individuals, families and older adults. CAP receives Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) funds and Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) funds and is a division of the Fort Worth Neighborhood Services Department.

The CAP online application opens at 9 a.m. every other Friday through September.

Community Action Partners (CAP) hosts in‑person application events throughout the year. Appointments are required for these events and CAP offices do not take walk‑in applications. New events will be added here as they are scheduled.
