Fun facts

Chamberlin Park became a city park in 1962. It is likely named for Humphrey Barker Chamberlin, a British-born Denver developer who was the leading figure in the development of Chamberlin Arlington Heights in the late 1890s on the prairie west of Fort Worth. This park is located in the Como community on the city’s west side and was created to provide parks to an underserved neighborhood.  In 2007, 0.22 acres of unimproved land was added to the park.  In February 2020 the new Como Community Center was opened in Chamberlin Park.
