Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center

Fort Worth’s Stop Six neighborhood has seen some massive changes over the years, and Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center has been at the thick of it; serving as a favorite meeting place and popular hang-out for the community’s movers-and-shakers. Come by often enough and you’ll start to feel like family – the seniors who attend the annual Senior Prom have been visiting for years, and the kids will tell you all about the exciting things they’re learning as part of the center’s various STEM and literacy programs.

Residents can also access Community Action Partners (CAP) services here, and if you’re just looking for a place to work out or shoot some hoops, this center keeps later hours to accommodate the needs of their diverse community.
