Commercial Loading Zone Permits

City ordinance restricts use of commercial loading zones to clearly marked commercial delivery vehicles only (view the ordinance for details).

For businesses that wish to use non-commercial vehicles for deliveries, a Commercial Loading Zone Permit is required.

Permit Usage

Only one vehicle can be registered to use a single permit. If a vehicle listed on the permit is replaced, contact the Fort Worth parking office at 817-392-6667 so an updated permit can be issued.

Insurance & Pay

  • $75 (six months) and $150 (one year).
  • Applicants also must submit a certificate of insurance
  • For drivers using personal vehicles
    • The business certificate and copies of personal auto insurance for all drivers must be submitted with the application

Loss or Theft

Loss or theft of a City of Fort Worth parking permit should be reported immediately to the Fort Worth parking office 817-392-6667. There will be a $10 replacement fee per hangtag lost or stolen.

Malfunctioning Meters

Having a problem with a parking meter?

  1. You may report it by calling 817-392-1234.
  2. You will need to know the five/six-digit meter number located on either the front and/or back of the meter.
  3. Be sure there is time on the meter before leaving your vehicle and/or find a new parking spot if it won't register time.
