Mayor Parker launched the Good Natured green space initiative in 2023 with the vision of creating a future where Fort Worth has the most green space of any city in the United States – starting with the ambitious goal of conserving 10,000 acres by 2028. Good Natured builds on public-private partnerships to preserve Fort Worth’s natural heritage, protect its water supply, and improve our park system to meet the growing needs of our community now and in the future.
