Need a safe place for your child during the winter break from school? Your local community center has a solution: Winter Break Camp.

Camp will be conducted 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 16, Dec. 19-23, Dec. 27-30 and Jan. 3 for children ages 5-13. Parents have the flexibility to select which days they wish to register their child for.

A variety of recreational, educational and cultural programs are designed to give campers fun and memorable experiences. Parents are encouraged to send a lunch with their child each day.

Price varies by location but starts as low as $5 per day, which includes a free membership. Registration is required and can be paid by credit card or electronic check.

Winter Break Camp will be offered at these community centers: Andrew Doc Session, Chisholm Trail, Como, Diamond Hill, Eugene McCray, Fire Station, Greenbriar, Handley Meadowbrook, Highland Hills, Hillside, Martin Luther King, North Tri Ethnic, Northside, R.D. Evans, Riverside, Southside, Southwest, Thomas Place, Victory Forest and Worth Heights.
