Learn about Northside, Diamond Hill water, sewer improvements

Hear the City’s plans to replace existing water and sanitary sewer mains in an area bound by South Hills Avenue to the north, Manderly Place to the south, Bellaire Circle to the west and Carolyn Road to the east. The project also includes a segment of Oak Grove Road.

Council District 2

• Angle Avenue from 152 feet southeast of Loraine Street to N.W. 30th Street (water and sewer).
• Northwest 29th Street from Angle Avenue to Pearl Avenue (water and sewer).
• Alley between Ross Avenue and Clinton Avenue from 29th Street and 30th Street (sewer).
• Prospect Avenue from 585 feet south of 31st Street to 585 feet south of 31st Street (sewer/point repair).
• Alley between 29th Street and Loraine Street from Angle Avenue to 145 feet west of Angle Avenue (sewer).
• Alley between Clinton Avenue and Ross Avenue from West Long Avenue to 250 feet north of Northwest 34th Street (sewer).
• Alley between Ellis Avenue and North Houston Street from Long Avenue to 200 feet north of Northwest 34th Street (sewer).
• Alley between Ellis Avenue and Main Street from 130 feet north of Northwest 34th Street to 135 feet south of Northwest 32nd Street (sewer).
• Alley between North Main Street and North Commerce Street from East Long Avenue to Northwest 34th Street (sewer).

• Oak Grove Road from Everman Parkway to Enon Road (sewer).

The community meeting to discuss this project will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, at Diamond Hill Community Center, 1701 N.E. 36th St.

Construction will impact the Far Greater Northside neighborhood association and Diamond Hill Jarvis neighborhood association.
