Keep your cool this summer at city pools

Update: Due to unforeseen technical issues, Sycamore Spray Ground is currently closed.  Staff hopes to open the attraction soon.

 

Everybody in the water! Fort Worth swimming pools and a splash pad open Memorial Day weekend, May 28-30 (including Memorial Day), for their summer seasons.

The pools will operate again on Saturday and Sunday, June 4-5, before opening for their full summer season, six days a week (closed Mondays), June 11-Aug. 14. Post-season will be weekends only beginning Aug. 20 through Labor Day, Sept. 5.

Forest Park Pool

Fort Worth’s oldest public pool, Forest Park Pool, 2850 Park Place Ave., will be open 12:30-6:30 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday this summer. Entrance fee is $5 for swimmers 17 and under, and $6 for 18 and older.

Marine Park Aquatic Center

The aquatic center at 303 N.W. 20th St. will be open 12:30-6:30 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday this summer. Entrance fee is $5 for swimmers 17 and under, and $6 for 18 and older.

Sycamore Spray Ground

The city also operates a spray ground at Sycamore Community Center, 2525 E. Rosedale St. There is no entry fee. The spray park is open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. seven days a week. Update: Due to unforeseen technical issues, Sycamore Spray Ground is currently close. 

Neighborhood Family Aquatic Center at McDonald Southeast YMCA

Through a partnership between the City of Fort Worth and YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth, Fort Worth residents have access to the William M. McDonald YMCA seasonal outdoor pool and water park at 2701 Moresby St. Dates for the 2022 season and pricing will be announced soon.
