24-Inch in Diameter Water Main from Union Pacific Railroad to US 287

This segment - Segment III of this project - provides for the installation of a 24-inch in diameter transmission water main located between the Union Pacific Railroad and US Hwy 287. The new transmission main will start west of the railroad. It will continue along Blue Mound Road West, then turn north on Bates Aston Road to 400 feet southwest of US 287.

The water transmission main will provide increased reliability for the increasing, and future, growth and demand in the far north area of Fort Worth.

The capital improvement project is in Fort Worth Council District 10 and in the extraterritorial jurisdiction.

Project Meeting

 The 24-inch in diameter Water Main - Union Pacific Railroad to US 287 - community construction meeting is at 6 p.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at the Eagle Mountain Saginaw ISD school district building. The address is 1600 Mustang Rock Road, Fort Worth 76179. 

This meeting also includes the Northside III 54-inch Transmission Main Part 1 (Eagle Mountain Water Treatment Plant to Boat Club Road.
