The historic bridge railings at Main Street, Henderson Ave., and Jennings Ave., are undergoing repairs and aesthetic upgrades.
Transportation and Public Works (TPW) has partnered with Near Southside Inc. who is conducting a larger Main St. improvement project.
This project also includes the replacement of the existing 6" waterline and a new 30" waterline on Main Street.
Also, beautification improvements underneath the South Main underpass between W Lancaster Avenue and W Vickery Boulevard are part of this project.
This project area is in both Council Districts 9 and 11.
The project advertisement for construction has been canceled.
