Bridge Improvements - Main, Henderson & Jennings Ave.

The historic Main St. bridge railings are undergoing repairs and aesthetic upgrades. Transportation and Public Works (TPW) has partnered with Near Southside Inc. who is conducting a larger Main St. improvement project.

This project will now include the replacement of the existing 6" waterline and a new 30" waterline on Main Street.

Additionally this project provides:

• Repairs to the Jennings Ave. and Henderson Street bridge railings under Interstate Highway 30.
• Beautification improvements underneath the S Main underpass between W Lancaster Avenue and W Vickery Boulevard

This project area is in both Council Districts 9 and 11.
