Street & Transportation Improvements

This project is recommended to enhance pedestrian safety for Western Hills High School student walkers.

Camp Bowie is identified on the City's Vision Zero High-Injury Network. A 2021 Roadway Safety Assessment (RSA) was conducted to identify needed infrastructure enhancements. The intersection is recommended for a full signal installation

The project scope also includes:

  • Traffic Signal Installation
  • Pedestrian Elements
  • Left Turn Lanes
  • Striping

 

This project is located in Council District 3.
