Cantrell Sansom Road will be widened between Mark IV Parkway and the future IH-35W southbound frontage road.

Widening will make way for the addition of two westbound and two eastbound lanes.

 

This project is located in Council District 2.

 

August 2026 Project Update

The contractor has completed all roadway paving and has opened one travel lane in each direction.

Sidewalks, illumination, pavement markings, and signage are scheduled for completion by September 2026. One lane will remain closed during this period to support ongoing construction activities.
