Cantrell Sansom Road

Cantrell Sansom Road will be widened between Mark IV Parkway and the future IH-35W southbound frontage road.

Widening will make way for the addition of two westbound and two eastbound lanes.

This project is located in Council District 2.

Contractor to begin construction on March 9 and last 10-12 months. Contractor will begin Phase 1 and work on Cantrell Sansom from Old Denton Road to IH35W Southbound Frontage Road. This Phase will last from March to June 2026.

Contractor to close Old Denton Road at Cantrell Sansom Road. Detours will be set up to use Mark IV Parkway and IH35W Southbound Frontage Road. Please utilize all detours and avoid the construction zone. Contractor expects to be opening pavement in all directions by September 2026.
