Cantrell Sansom Road will be widened between Mark IV Parkway and the future IH-35W southbound frontage road.

Widening will make way for the addition of two westbound and two eastbound lanes.

 

This project is located in Council District 2.

 

November 2025 Project Update

  • Utility Relocation has begun and will last through December 2025. 
  • The project has opened bids and selected a contractor. Construction will begin in Spring 2026 and is estimated to last 16 months.
  • A public meeting will be held prior to construction start.
