Cantrell Sansom Road will be widened between Mark IV Parkway and the future IH-35W southbound frontage road.

Widening will make way for the addition of two westbound and two eastbound lanes.

 

This project is located in Council District 2.

 

October 2026 Project Update

  • The project is open to traffic on both sides of the median and all side streets. 
  • The contractor is finishing the final items from the inspections.
  • Traffic control will be removed in early October.
