Drainage Improvements

Storm water pipe repairs on Carrol Street, between W 6th and W 7th Street.  Project also includes pavement where repairs have been completed.  

Project details are as follows: 

  • Two holes in the storm water pipe will be repaired.
  • One lane will remain open for through traffic.
  • Sidewalks, parking lots, and business entrances will remain open.
  • Message board notification will be in place prior to construction.
  • Detour and construction signage will be installed.

The project is in District 9. 

 

January 2024 Project Update

Construction is expected to start after the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo and the Cowtown Marathon. Work is planned to begin by March 2024 and is expected to take three weeks.

  • This is the second design meeting in the past two months. Previous feedback will be shared and new input encouraged.
  • Scheduled to advertise for construction in August 2024
