The Transportation and Public Works Department will be using PayGo funding to improve streets at West Cleburne Road.
The project involves heavy maintenance, including heavy asphalt resurfacing by pulverization and overlaying at the following locations:
This project is located in Council District 6.
Construction previously scheduled to begin on March 16 has been postponed and is now anticipated to start in late May.
This adjustment is intended to reduce impacts associated with school bus routes and high traffic volumes along the corridor. Performing the work during a period of lower traffic is expected to improve safety and minimize disruptions.
Work will continue at other locations within the project in the interim.
