Drainage Improvements

Hazardous Road Overtopping Mitigation (HROM) improvements are planned to mitigate stormwater overtopping of Cunningham Road between Blakely Drive and Crowley Road.  This will be accomplished by raising the roadway elevation and constructing a bridge.

Improvements include:

• Raising the roadway elevation

• Roadway widening and new pavement

• New Bridge

• Replacing water and sewer lines

 

This project is in Council District 8.

 

July 2025 Project Update 

• Project design is currently at 60%.

• Acquisition of Right-of-Way and Easements will continue.

• A community meeting to discuss the project and receive feedback will be planned in Fall 2025.

An Open House public meeting was held on May 18, 2024.

 

 

 

 

Project news

Advertisement for construction will follow after all right-of-way and easements have been acquired, most likely in Spring 2026.
