A four-lane high-capacity road, also known as an arterial, will be constructed from I-35 to Misty Redwood Trail.

Proposed improvements include: 

• Traffic signals at Harmon Road and Golden Heights
• 10 ft shared use path in each direction
• Drainage improvements
• Water line improvements

This project is in Council Districts 4 and 10.

June 2026 Project Update

• The Golden Triangle construction is ahead of schedule.

• Concrete paving and traffic signals have recently been completed. The contractor is currently working on finishing the shared use paths, medians, and one remaining driveway at Golden Heights.

• All four lanes will be open to traffic once the newly installed signals begin flashing in the coming weeks.
