Water mains and sewer mains will be installed or replaced  through a Fort Worth Water capital improvement project. The project area is bound by Terrell Avenue to the north, Freeman Street and the Union Pacific Railroad to the east, Rosedale Street to the south and Bransford Street to the west.

 

Cast iron water mains will be replaced on East Humbolt Street, East Pulaski Street, Verbena Street and Freeman Street.

 

An existing 15-inch in diameter sanitary sewer main (M-22) that runs from Fabons Street, through Verbena Street, Troost Street, Pulaski Street, and Humbolt Street will be abandoned.

 

Water Main Replacement

  • East Pulaski Street from Bransford Street to Fabons Street
  • East Pulaski Street from Troost Street to Freeman Street
  • East Humbolt Street from Bransford Street to Troost Street

Sewer Main Replacement

  • Easement between Verbena Street and White Street from Troost Street to Freeman Street
  • Easement between East Pulaski Street and Verbena Street from Troost Street to Freeman Street
  • Easement between East Terrell Avenue and Humbolt Street from Troost Street, to the west 700 fee

Water and Sewer Main Installation

  • Freeman Street from East Pulaski Street to the East Rosedale Street South right-of-way
  • Verbena Street from Fabons Street to Freeman Street

 

Sewer Main Installation

  • White Street from Troost Street to Freeman Street
  • Fabons Street from Verbena Street to  East Rosedale Street South Right-of-Way
  • Easement between East Humbolt Street and East Pulaski Street from Troost Street to 105 feet east
  • Troost Street from the Troost Street/East Rosedale Street intersection  to 1,050 feet north

 

This Fort Worth Water capital improvement project is in Fort Worth Council District 8. The Historic Southside neighborhood association, Hillside neighborhood association and the United Communities Association will be impacted.
