This project is part of the The Texas Department of Transportation Highway Safety Improvement Program.

The Intersection will be upgraded with the following:

  • New traffic signal
  • Dual left turn lanes for northbound left turn
  • Accessible Pedestrian Signals (APS)
  • ADA ramps
  • Intersection safety lighting
  • Updated pavement markings 

 

This project is in Council District 6.

December 2025 Project Status

TxDOT anticipates to begin construction in January 2026.
