This project involves the removal and replacement of the existing headwall that is bowing at the outfall of the dam. Improved drainage behind the new wall will be installed to prevent future bowing. The ground between the headwall and sidewalk at Clayton Road will be re-graded and new sod will be placed in that area.
This project is in Council District 3.
An electronic message board will be placed prior to the start of construction to inform drivers of a temporary lane closure.
The road will remain open to at least one lane of traffic during the construction period. Construction is anticipated to last for eight weeks.
