This project involves the removal and replacement of the existing headwall that is bowing at the outfall of the dam. Improved drainage behind the new wall will be installed to prevent future bowing. The ground between the headwall and sidewalk at Clayton Road will be re-graded and new sod will be placed in that area.

This project is in Council District 3.

January 2026 Project Update

An electronic message board is in place to inform drivers of the upcoming construction.
More details to come on the detour route.
Construction is expected to begin in mid-February and is anticipated to last for six weeks.
