Water & Sanitary Sewer Imrpovements

This Marine Creek Drainage Basin Phase 2/Part 2  Improvement project includes building a parallel sanitary sewer main that will replace a severely deteriorated sanitary sewer main located immediately downstream of the project main.

This improvement project goes thorough Marine Creek Lake Park and runs parallel to, and crosses, the Marine Creek Reservoir. The construction is bound by Ten Mile Bridge Road to the north and east, Marine Creek Lake and Park to the south, and stops short of Huffines Boulevard to the west.

Part 2 picks up on Ten Mile Bridge Road by the Marine Creek boat ramp and parking lot. The new sewer main follows the path of the walking trail as it loops around the New Castleton Lane neighborhood, continues behind Kingsknowe Parkway, then crosses the reservoir.

The existing sewer main by the boat ramp is 30 inches in diameter. The new main will be 42 inches in diameter. The proposed sanitary sewer mains that will cross the reservoir are 42 inches in diameter and 18 inches in diameter.

This project is in Fort Worth Council District 2.
