There is an existing pedestrian crosswalk and signage at the proposed location. The location was identified as a community priority for safety enhancements by the Historic Marine neighborhood, currently on the City's Neighborhood Improvement Program areas.
This location serves as a critical connection for residents living east of N Main Street to access Historic Marine Park, Circle Park, and Northside library located west of North Main Street.
