Water & Sanitary Sewer Imrpovements

This City of Fort Worth Water project includes a proposed Silver Creek Lift Station, Force Main and Gravity Main.

This project is necessary due to continued growth in far west Fort Worth, north of White Settlement Road.

The current proposal is for a lift station with a capacity of 10 million gallons per day. The lift station would act as an overflow for excess from the existing Live Oak Creek Station, and also provide service for areas on the west side of Lake Worth.

The scope also includes a gravity sanitary sewer main from the existing Live Oak Lift Station to the proposed Silver Creek Lift Station.

The project also includes:

  • An odor control system at the proposed lift station
  • Two inverted siphons
  • 7,700 feet of 16-inch in diameter water main that will connect a developer proposed water main on the north end of the project, to an existing City 16-inch in diameter water main near the  Silver Creek Drive/Heron Drive intersection
  • Pressure reducing valve/vault and a meter before the connection to the existing 16-inch in diameter water main

This project is in the City of Fort Worth Council District 7.

The overall project area is bound by Western Oaks Road to the north, West Loop 820 North to the east, Silver Creek Road to the south, and Live Oak Creek Road to the west.

This capital improvement project will impact the Neighborhood Association on South Lake Worth and the Tejas Trail neighborhood organization.
