South Hulen Asphalt Resurfacing Project

The Transportation and Public Works Department will be using PayGo funding to improve streets at South Hulen Street.

The project includes heavy maintenance of asphalt resurfacing using milling and overlay. Only damaged curb and gutter, driveways, and non-compliant curb ramps will be replaced.

Streets include:

S Hulen Street from Southwest Loop 820 to Bellaire Drive S
Bellaire Dr S from S Hulen Street to bridge start point (pavement change).

This project is located in Council Districts 3 & 6.

July 2026 Project Status

All asphalt paving, curb and gutter work, and main lane striping are complete.
Next, crews will install turn arrows and ONLY pavement markings, followed by construction of three concrete manhole pads in the crossovers.
