This project will provide a new transit bus center near Envision Center and the Stop Six neighborhood in southeast Fort Worth. 

This project is located in Council District 5.

 

December 2023 Project Status

  1. A community outreach study will be the first phase of the project.
  2. This study serves as a guiding framework for the initial design phase.
  3. Public input to ensure the needs and preferences are met for both neighborhood residents and transportation users.

Project news

  • June 2023 Update: 

     

    Contractor is continuing work on Burton Avenue and Crouch Street installing utilities.  Utility work will continue through the end of June 2023, after which paving will begin starting in July 2023. 

    Utility work on Chickasaw is expected to commence in July 2023.
