The City of Fort Worth is rehabilitating the storm drain pipe running under University Dr.

Work involves the open cut replacement of the pipe running north of University Dr and Botanical Gardens Blvd.

All of the work is expected to take place within the city right-of-way. No work is expected to occur on private property.

During construction the intersections will remain open with limited access. Some lane closures on University Drive will be necessary during construction. 

This project is located in Council Districts 7 and 9.

August 2025 Project Status Update

Construction has been completed and the final inspection took place in July.
