This project is part of TxDOT's Highway Safety Improvement Program at the intersection of West Risinger Road at Garden Springs Drive.

The scope of this project is to install:

  • A new traffic signal
  • Flashing yellow arrows
  • ADA ramps
  • Separate left turn lanes for all approaches
  • Intersection safety lighting
  • Pedestrian crossings on all sides

 

This project is in Council District 6.

 

May 2025 Project Status

  • Look for signal activation this month
  • The pedestrian crosswalk push button is also being programmed

  • At the end of March 2023, 100% of the design plans were submitted.
