Neighbors Helping Neighbors, the Fort Worth Way!

The City of Fort Worth is proud to introduce Code Compliance Connects, a new program designed to support residents by connecting them with local volunteer groups to help resolve code-related concerns around their homes.

Why Get Involved?

Through the generosity of participating businesses, organizations, and community volunteers who are donating their time and resources, Code Compliance Connects is helping residents maintain their properties. Our focus is helping residents who may be elderly, disabled, or facing limited resources.

By removing financial barriers, this community-driven program supports a cleaner, safer, and more vibrant Fort Worth. The program focuses on projects that improve safety, health, and overall neighborhood appearance.

How Volunteers Can Help:

Participating businesses and volunteer groups may be able to assist with:

  • Mowing overgrown grass and weeds

  • Removing litter, brush, or bulky waste

  • Minor fence repairs or removals

  • Exterior painting or graffiti removal

  • Trimming trees or bushes obstructing sidewalks

  • Donating labor for minor home upkeep

*Please note: ASSISTANCE IS NOT GUARANTEED. Resources may be limited depending on volunteer availability, project scope, and property type. Rental properties may qualify for fewer resources than owner-occupied homes.

Who We're Looking For:

A diverse group of community volunteers!

  • Local businesses (lawn care, painting, etc.)
  • Churches, nonprofits & civic groups
  • Community volunteers (corporate and business groups)
  • Student groups & service clubs
