TYP Fort Worth is a unique and pretty laid-back Cowtown networking group. We try to create an environment where friendships can be nurtured, but our goal is to see new business connections created.

We have monthly networking mixers at the hot spots in Fort Worth and quarterly luncheons. There is no fee to attend our monthly networking mixers, but we do ask that you register.

Leaders Evolving And Planning Success (LEAPS)

LEAPS Program

LEAPS stands for Leaders Evolving And Planning Success. The Human Resources Department is offering this opportunity for today’s leaders to expand their knowledge about the organization.

The LEAPS Program is a five-month program (1 day per week) where participants will be assigned to work outside their immediate work area. Participants will also complete leadership specific content through Fort Worth Employee University.

Participants will contribute to projects from their assigned departments while also expected to provide feedback about this new program. Once participants complete the five-month program they will be made available to answer questions from future participants. Balancing current job responsibilities with the expectations of the program will be key to an individual successfully completing the program.

Employees that are interested in participating will go through a review and selection process. For anyone that is interested, please email the HR Business Partners at: zz_HRD_HRBP@fortworthtexas.gov

Note that the application process for 2023 has ended. Information on 2024 application process will be updated here soon.
