Andrew Doc Session Community Center

Andrew ‘Doc’ Session Community Center is located near Downtown Fort Worth, just off South Sylvania Avenue. The center’s friendly staff hosts a variety of special events throughout the year in addition to their regular programming, and case workers are on-site to assist economically-disadvantaged families through Community Action Partners (CAP) programs and services.

Atatiana Carr-Jefferson Community Center at Hillside

Atatiana Carr-Jefferson Community Center at Hillside has arguably the best view of Downtown Fort Worth in the city, which may be partially to blame for the staff’s always-upbeat attitude. Seasonal special events are always popular with those neighbors in-the-know, and programming covers youth, seniors, and everyone in between.

Chisholm Trail Community Center

Nestled among a preserved fragment of the Fort Worth Prairie, Chisholm Trail Community Center’s state-of-the-art facility in southwest Fort Worth provides locals with plenty of opportunities to stay active and have fun. If you’re feeling outdoorsy, soak in the Texas wildflowers with a 2.4-mile stroll around the prairie, or perform a halfpipe at the center’s skate park.

Como Community Center

The new Como Community Center provides plenty of modern amenities for this historic neighborhood. In addition to the full-size gym, there’s a fitness room, a teaching kitchen, a sensory playground, and an entire wing dedicated exclusively to senior programs. Como Community Center is also the main location for residents to access Community Action Partners (CAP) services in southwest Fort Worth.

Diamond Hill Community Center

The friendly staff and boxing program at Diamond Hill Community Center make it a knock-out, as far as its customers are concerned! Throw in the one-two punch of its boxing gym and its small skatepark, followed up by the roundhouse kick of fun activities that it offers for kids and seniors, and you have a facility that can go toe-to-toe with any other in town.

Eugene McCray Community Center

Eugene McCray Community Center in southeast Fort Worth is a cozy community gathering spot where residents can relax in the lobby, participate in some fun with friends and family, or watch TV in the fitness room while getting their steps in. The center’s new commercial kitchen and 120-person meeting room makes it a great location to host a special event.

Fire Station Community Center

In the heart of Fort Worth’s Near Southside lies Fire Station Community Center – which, true to its name, is located in the building of an old fire station. Center activities are intertwined with the local goings-on in the Magnolia neighborhood, which gives the youth-focused facility a friendly, welcoming vibe.

Greenbriar Community Center

Just adjacent to Greenbriar Park, Greenbriar Community Center is the perfect place to have fun both indoors and outside! While there’s ample opportunity to work out in the center’s fitness room or participate in one (or more) of the center’s many recreational programs – suited for any age! – it’s in the great outdoors where Greenbriar really shines.

Handley Meadowbrook Community Center

Need a space to host an event in East Fort Worth? Handley Meadowbrook Community Center’s recently-renovated facility has something for every need, including a full-size gymnasium, several multi-purpose rooms, a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen, and a newly refurbished computer lab.

Highland Hills Community Center

Highland Hills Community Center is a hidden gem, tucked away in south Fort Worth’s Highland Hills neighborhood. That neighborhood pride is one of the main driving forces behind the center’s successful community events, not to mention their many programs and activities fit for all ages. Exercise enthusiasts can get their kicks in the center’s fitness room, and open gym is a popular pastime.

Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center

Fort Worth’s Stop Six neighborhood has seen some massive changes over the years, and Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center has been at the thick of it; serving as a favorite meeting place and popular hang-out for the community’s movers-and-shakers. Come by often enough and you’ll start to feel like family.

Northside Community Center

Welcome to Northside Community Center! This safe, family-friendly center hosts a variety of exciting events and activities that cater to the diverse audiences in northwest Fort Worth. It’s a favorite gathering spot for seniors who are part of the Best Years Club, and Community Action Partner (CAP) services like water payment assistance are accessible to residents here.

North Tri-Ethnic Community Center

North Tri-Ethnic Community Center is located not far from the Fort Worth Stockyards, and is filled with happy, friendly staff looking to fulfill your recreational needs! In addition, low-income residents can stop by and sign up for Community Action Partner (CAP) services at this center.

R.D. Evans Community Center

If the charming brick arches outside of R.D. Evans Community Center immediately catch your eye, they should – because this center is something special. Not only is it located within walking distance of trails, fishing ponds, and even a dog park, but the center’s innovative programming doubles down on creativity and education.

Riverside Community Center

Riverside Community Center, located in the heart of Sylvania Park, is a frequent stop for seniors squeezing in a workout, kids seeking out some friendly competition at pool or air hockey, and even the occasional migratory egret.

Southside Community Center

Located in the Historic Southside Neighborhood, Southside Community Center offers a variety of programs to their diverse community.

Southwest Community Center

You’ll flip over everything that Southwest Community Center has to offer – and its 10.0 Gymnastics training facility is at the top of the list! Mini-tennis courts? Check. Sand volleyball court? Check. Enough special events and activities that any person of any age is sure to find something that sparks their interest? Check. Seriously, this center will have you doing cartwheels.

Thomas Place Community Center

Thomas Place Community Center was once a schoolhouse, and its deep red façade perfectly complements the bricks on nearby Camp Bowie Boulevard. The center feels like an extension of your living room – if your living room had a playground, a basketball court, and all kinds of entertaining activities for everyone in the family.

Victory Forest Community Center

One of Fort Worth’s newest community centers, Victory Forest is a few minutes’ drive from downtown, but their impressive space makes the travel time worth it. Between the 2,000-square-foot fitness room, their teaching kitchen, spacious gymnasium, and patio perfect for hosting parties near the playground, Victory Forest has managed to squeeze a lot of high-quality offerings into of their walls.

Worth Heights Community Center

Sitting proudly above the shores of Echo Lake in south Fort Worth, you’ll find Worth Heights Community Center. This spacious venue includes a gymnasium, multiple activity rooms, and two commercial kitchens – all of which are available for rent.

Northpark YMCA

The Northpark YMCA was constructed through a partnership between the City of Fort Worth and the YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth. All membership fees to Fort Worth residents using this YMCA location shall be discounted by 10%.

Rise Community Center

The LVTRise project is a cooperative effort by private companies, human service organizations and government agencies dedicated to improving the lives of people living in the Las Vegas Trail area.

Betsy Price Community Center

The Betsy Price Community Center in Fort Worth is a dynamic hub for residents. It has facilities like group exercise rooms, a fitness center with all the latest equipment, and a teaching kitchen. There will also be meeting rooms for events and workshops, plus childcare services for busy parents!

Court-Ordered Community Service

If you are in need of court-ordered community service, please complete the required registration. Once you receive your approval letter from City of Fort Worth staff, you may then contact a Fort Worth community center to schedule your service. This online registration replaces the former mandatory in-person orientation.
