How It Works

Choose a Location
Select from various parks and public spaces across Fort Worth. Availability may vary, and our team will work with you to find the perfect spot. The following locations are no longer accepting benches: Trinity Park, Foster Park, Overton Park, River Park, and Monticello Park.

Submit a Request
Complete the Memorial Bench Program application online. Applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Personalize Your Bench
Add a custom message for the engraved plaque (e.g., “In Loving Memory of John Smith, 1945-2023”). Messages are subject to approval. Religious and profane text will not be approved.

Installation
Once approved, your bench will be installed by our Parks team, typically within 6 weeks of finalizing the details.
