This project includes relocating all left turn lanes at this intersection and constructing a dedicated northbound right turn lane with an island.
Additionally, the following are planned to improve this location:
Traffic signal upgrades
Accessible pedestrian signals (APS)
New directional signage
Pavement markings
ADA compliant curb ramps
This project is in Council District 6.
The installation of the new traffic signal infrastructure is scheduled to be complete by Friday, February 20, 2026.
New traffic signs are installed and covered until the final pavement markings are complete.
The new traffic signals will be activated and scheduled to be running in March 2026.
A dedicated right-turn lane, going North, that is separated from main traffics will follow the traffic signal activation.
Trees are scheduled to be planted at Chisolm Trail Park as part of this project
