The project provides for the design of water, sewer, and paving improvements on twelve neighborhood streets:

  • Buck Ave, from W Rosedale St S to Mistletoe Ave.
  • Chambers Ave, from Alamo Ave to W Vickery Blvd.
  • Gordon Ave, from McPherson Ave to W Lowden St.
  • Lipscomb St, from Page St to W Capps St.
  • Livingston Ave, from W Lowden St to W Bowie St.
  • Lisbon, from Chambers to Landers St.
  • Rutledge St, from Vickery Blvd  to Landers St.
  • Landers St, from Locke Ave.  to Lovell Ave.
  • Mistletoe Drive, from Alley between Mistletoe Avenue and Edwin Street to Rosedale St.
  • Harrison Avenue, from Buck Avenue to Mistletoe Drive
  • Mistletoe Boulevard, from Buck Avenue to Mistletoe Drive
  • Alley between Alamo Ave. & Valentine St. from 370 ft south of Chambers Ave. to West Freeway
  • Alley between Lisbon St. & Vickery Blvd, from Bedford St, to 144 ft. north of Chambers Ave.

This project is located in Council Districts 3 & 9.

What’s Happening Now

  • Work is moving forward on the new water lines along Buck Avenue and Harrison Avenue. This phase should wrap up in early September.
  • In the meantime, crews have put down temporary pavement until the permanent paving is installed this November.
  • If your home is connected to a temporary water line, you may get a notice on your door about planned daytime shut-offs.
  • Work is moving forward on the new water lines along Mistletoe Drive and Mistletoe Blvd. This phase should wrap up in early November.

What’s Coming Next

  • Also beginning in September, crews will start work on the driveways, sidewalks, and curbs along Buck and Harrison. This part of the work will last through early November. While your driveway access may be temporarily blocked, the inspector and contractor will contact you prior to construction start so that you can make arrangements to park elsewhere.
