This project will enhance safety and capacity improvements at two Union Pacific Railroad crossings at US HWY 377.   

Two UPRR crossings at US 377 are at Kroger Drive and the other at Basswood Blvd. 

Improvements include

• Roadway widening at these two crossings

• Construction of additional turn lanes

• Medians

• Sidewalks

• Traffic signals

• Railroad gates and signal improvements

This project is in Council District 4

November 2025 Project Status  Update

• Continue to coordinate with the Union Pacific Railroad to execute a Railroad Agreement necessary to move forward with the project.
• Construction is anticipated to begin in 2026.
