Chest Compression Training

Hands-only CPR and Stop the Bleed training is quick, easy and lifesaving. In less than the time it takes to watch most reality TV shows, a person as young as nine can learn to perform these skills, potentially helping a cardiac arrest or trauma victim become a real-life Survivor.

Fort Worth EMS provides this training for groups of 10 or more as requested at our headquarters on Alta Mere Drive in Fort Worth, or at community events, city meetings and area businesses in Fort Worth's service area, in the hope of increasing the public’s ability and willingness to aid cardiac arrest and trauma victims. 

The training includes a 60-minute on-line session (watched at your convenience in advance of skills training) and hands-on instruction with Fort Worth EMS professionals. Please note that attendees of this type of training will not receive official CPR certification. However, early and effective chest compressions can be performed by bystanders and are proven to substantially increase survival rates for cardiac arrest patients, and bleeding control prior to EMS arrival can save the lives of trauma victims.
