All Fort Worth Public Libraries now have boards to help people with limited speech.

We want everyone to feel welcome, and we know that not all people communicate in the same way.

  • Boards help people unable to speak well. They are a tool to help anyone communicate better.

  • With a board, a person can point to pictures or symbols. They can then ask for things, make a choice or share their feelings. 

  • We want everyone to have what they need to talk to staff and use the library.
